George Askaroff

George Askaroff is a contemporary visual artist whose work spans painting, mixed media, and installation. Born in Sofia, Bulgaria, in 1984, Askaroff's early exposure to the rich artistic heritage of Eastern Europe profoundly influenced his creative trajectory. After studying fine art at the National Academy of Arts in Sofia, he moved to Berlin, where his practice evolved to incorporate elements of abstraction, urban landscapes, and personal symbolism.

Drawing inspiration from both his cultural roots and the dynamic environments in which he has lived, Askaroff’s work is known for its bold color palettes, layered textures, and emotional resonance. Throughout his career, he has exhibited internationally, with solo and group shows in cities such as Berlin, London, Paris, and New York. Askaroff's art explores themes of identity, memory, and the interplay between individual and collective experience, inviting viewers to engage with the complexity and beauty of transformation.
