Founded in 2018, Foil comprises three core members—Ava Lin, Marcus Quinn, and Jules Serre—who each bring backgrounds in sculpture, digital media, and sound design. Their collaborative practice centers on transforming everyday objects and industrial materials, such as aluminum foil and mylar, into ethereal installations that invite viewers to reconsider the boundaries between art, architecture, and nature.

Foil’s work has been featured in numerous group and solo exhibitions across North America and Europe, including installations at the Centre Pompidou, the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago, and Frieze London.
