Elisen

Elisen is a contemporary visual artist whose experimental approach explores the intersections of memory, perception, and the natural world. Born in 1991 and based in Tallinn, Estonia, Elisen’s work is characterized by a fusion of organic forms and ethereal color palettes, often using mixed media techniques to evoke emotional resonance and atmospheric tension. After studying fine art at the Estonian Academy of Arts, Elisen gained recognition through a series of exhibitions across Northern Europe, developing a signature style that weaves together painting, collage, and digital manipulation.

Inspired by the Baltic landscape and folklore, Elisen’s pieces reflect a deep fascination with transformation, both in nature and human experience, and invite viewers into dreamlike environments that challenge the boundaries between the real and the imagined. Elisen’s recent projects include collaborations with local poets and sound artists, and their work is held in several public and private collections.
