Leolo Lozone

Leolo Lozone is a multidisciplinary artist whose work spans painting, sculpture, installation, and performance. Born in Montreal in 1992, Lozone’s practice is informed by a deep curiosity about human rituals, collective memory, and the boundaries between the tangible and the ephemeral. Drawing from personal experiences as well as a diverse range of cultural influences, Lozone’s pieces frequently explore themes of transformation, belonging, and the intricate relationship between body and environment.

After receiving a BFA at Concordia University, Lozone has exhibited in group and solo shows across Canada and internationally, including venues in Berlin, Paris, and New York. Their work is recognized for its sensorial approach, often inviting viewers to not only observe but also participate physically or emotionally in the unfolding narrative of the piece. Lozone continues to expand their creative vocabulary through collaborations with dancers, sound artists, and writers, forging new connections between art forms and communities.
