Born and raised in the industrial town of Holyhead, North Wales, Dez Williams has been pushing boundaries in the underground electronic scene since the late 1990s. Growing up with a passion for early techno, electro, and industrial sounds, Dez started experimenting with music production as a teenager, inspired by Detroit pioneers and UK rave culture alike. His early works, characterized by raw, analog-driven beats and dystopian melodies, caught the attention of niche labels across Europe.

Dez broke onto the international stage with his critically acclaimed debut album "Elektronik Religion" in 2003, released on SCSI-AV. Establishing himself as a relentless innovator, he continued to evolve his sound, fusing classic electro rhythms with dark, atmospheric textures. Over the years, he's released music on labels such as Bedouin, Bass Agenda, Shipwrec, and New York’s revered cult imprint, DJ Stingray’s Micron Audio.

His tracks have appeared on legendary compilations and have been championed by tastemakers like Helena Hauff, Dave Clarke, and DJ Stingray. Known for his intense and dynamic live hardware sets, Dez Williams has dominated club nights and festivals throughout Europe, captivating audiences with his unique blend of breakbeats, acid, and futuristic electro. Despite his underground ethos, his production skills and technical prowess have earned him widespread respect among peers and fans alike.
