Danny Zee

Danny Zee is a multidisciplinary artist known for blending vibrant color palettes with evocative explorations of identity, memory, and urban life. Born and raised in Los Angeles, Danny’s early experiences in the city’s diverse neighborhoods deeply influenced his creative outlook and subject matter. After studying at Otis College of Art and Design, he embarked on a career that traverses painting, photography, and installation, using each medium to capture moments that oscillate between personal narrative and shared cultural experience.

Danny’s distinct style—marked by energetic brushwork, layered textures, and the interplay of abstraction and figuration—has earned him recognition in solo and group exhibitions across the West Coast and in international art fairs. Drawing inspiration from street art, music, and cinematic storytelling, his work often invites viewers to reflect on their own stories and the environments they inhabit. Danny currently works out of his downtown LA studio, continually expanding his practice through collaborations, community projects, and experimental public art.
