Animal Kontrol

Animal Kontrol is an avant-garde electronic music duo formed in Berlin in 2017 by producer Leo Franz and visual artist Mira Hollen. Blending pulsing techno rhythms with organic field recordings, the pair crafts immersive soundscapes that evoke the tension between technology and nature. Animal Kontrol’s live performances are renowned for their experimental visuals and interactive installations, transforming clubs and galleries into kinetic environments.

Their critically acclaimed debut album, "Exoskeletal," released in 2019, explored themes of surveillance and eco-anxiety, earning them a dedicated following across Europe’s underground circuit. Driven by their shared fascination with animal behavior and the digital age, Animal Kontrol continues to push the boundaries of electronic music, using their art to spark dialogue about coexistence and control in a rapidly changing world.
