Chima Isaaro is a boundary-pushing DJ and electronic music producer known for her innovative blend of Afrobeat, house, and contemporary electronic sounds. Raised in Lagos, Nigeria, and now based in Berlin, Isaaro’s global perspective is evident in her dynamic sets and original productions, which weave together rhythms from her heritage with cutting-edge club music. Isaaro first garnered attention in the early 2010s, honing her craft at underground parties before quickly ascending to major festival stages across Europe and Africa.

Her energetic performances have made her a frequent guest at renowned venues like Berghain and Concrete, and she has played alongside luminaries such as Black Coffee, Honey Dijon, and Peggy Gou. In 2019, she launched her debut EP, “Midnight Migration,” to critical acclaim, praised for its intricate percussion, melodic depth, and bold experimentation. A passionate advocate for representation in electronic music, Isaaro co-founded the “Frequency Femme” collective, supporting and mentoring emerging female and non-binary DJs from the African diaspora.

Her monthly radio show, “Echoes of Isaaro,” has also become a cult favorite, introducing listeners to hidden gems and up-and-coming artists from the Global South.
