Carmel is an innovative DJ known for blending house, Afrobeat, techno, and soul into captivating, boundary-pushing sets. Raised in Lagos and now based in Berlin, Carmel draws deep inspiration from both West African rhythms and the electronic vibrance of Europe. Her signature style is rooted in infectious grooves, percussive layers, and unexpected vocal samples, distinctively connecting cultures on dance floors around the world.

Launching her career in 2017, Carmel quickly gained recognition in underground club circuits, playing acclaimed sets at venues such as Sisyphos in Berlin and The Jazzhole in Lagos. Her mixes have been featured on major platforms like Boiler Room and NTS Radio, earning praise for their emotional depth and technical skill. Beyond her own performances, Carmel is a dedicated advocate for inclusivity in dance music.

She co-founded the collective “Unity Vibe,” mentoring young female DJs and producing events that spotlight underrepresented talent. Her debut EP, *Waves Across*, fuses organic drum beats with lush synths, capturing elements of the rich musical tapestry that forms her identity.
