Caramel Mafia is a Berlin-based music producer, DJ, and cultural force known for bringing a vibrant fusion of genres and powerful queer narratives to the European club scene. Raised in Ethiopia and rooted in the multicultural atmosphere of Berlin, Caramel Mafia’s sound boldly defies labels, weaving together dancehall, hip-hop, afrobeats, and electronic elements to create joyful dancefloor experiences. As an advocate for diversity and LGBTQIA+ visibility, they have been instrumental in curating safe and celebratory spaces for marginalized communities, most notably through their role as a co-founder of the pioneering queer party collective Hoe_mies.
