Bisofer

Bisofer is an emerging multidisciplinary artist whose work seamlessly blends abstract expressionism with the tactile qualities of urban textures. Born in 1992 in Porto, Portugal, Bisofer grew up surrounded by vibrant street art and industrial landscapes, influences that are clearly echoed in the rough surfaces and layered colors of their pieces. After completing their studies at the Faculdade de Belas Artes da Universidade do Porto, Bisofer quickly gained recognition for their unique use of mixed media, combining traditional painting techniques with found materials and digital elements.

Their art explores themes of decay, renewal, and the shifting identities of public spaces, often incorporating graffiti-inspired motifs and experimental color palettes. Bisofer’s exhibitions in Lisbon, Berlin, and New York have brought international attention, and their recent works delve into questions of social transformation through the lens of aesthetic impermanence.
