Benleh

Benleh is a multidisciplinary artist known for his bold approach to contemporary visual culture, merging digital media, painting, and installation to construct immersive experiences. Born in 1992 in Kuala Lumpur, Benleh developed an early fascination with urban environments and the interplay between tradition and modernity, a theme that persists throughout his practice. After studying fine arts at the University of the Arts London, Benleh began exhibiting in group shows across Europe and Asia before mounting his first solo exhibition in 2018.

His work draws inspiration from street art, internet aesthetics, and Southeast Asian folklore, often utilizing vibrant color palettes, layered textures, and experimental processes. Recognized for his ability to provoke dialogue about identity, technology, and the urban experience, Benleh has received accolades from both critics and independent art spaces, with his works entering notable private collections and contemporary art festivals. Today, Benleh continues to live and work between Kuala Lumpur and Berlin, pushing boundaries and fostering collaborations across creative disciplines.
