KLING&KLANG

KLING&KLANG is a collaborative artist duo whose innovative practice merges sculptural installation, sound art, and interactive media to push the boundaries of sensory experience. United by a shared fascination with the intersections of technology, urban landscapes, and the rhythms of everyday life, the artists behind KLING&KLANG—Anna Petersen and Lukas Hartmann—have developed a body of work that resonates with both visual and sonic complexity. Since forming their partnership in Berlin in 2015, their installations have been exhibited in galleries and festivals throughout Europe and beyond, capturing audiences with immersive environments that invite participation and play.

Drawing inspiration from the electronic music heritage of their city as well as from kinetic art and experimental architecture, KLING&KLANG reimagine public and private space as sites of auditory exploration. Their realized projects range from responsive light and sound sculptures in abandoned factories to collaborative performances engaging local communities. Through their practice, KLING&KLANG continuously explore the potential for art to connect people, technologies, and spaces in new and unexpected ways.
