Anthony Parasole stands as a pivotal figure in the New York electronic music scene, recognized for his uncompromising approach to techno and house. Emerging from Brooklyn, Parasole’s deep-rooted passion for music began in the 1990s, where he initially established himself as a tastemaker with legendary record shops like Halcyon and A1 Records. His DJ sets reflect the city’s energetic pulse—raw, powerful, and driven by a sharp ear for hypnotic rhythms.

A founding member of The Club Der Visionaere and Deconstruct Music (with Levon Vincent), Parasole also heads his own highly respected label, The Corner. Through these imprints, he has championed forward-thinking releases from both established and emerging artists, shaping a distinctively New York sound that ranges from heavy, industrial techno to deeper, more introspective house cuts. Parasole’s production work, with tracks appearing on labels like Ostgut Ton, Dekmantel, and Nonplus Records, is marked by a relentless drive and atmospheric textures.

His debut album, “Infrared Vision,” showcased his skill at balancing intensity with subtlety, earning critical acclaim across the global dance music community. Regular appearances at acclaimed venues like Berghain, Output, and Tresor, as well as major festivals, have cemented his reputation as a commanding and adventurous DJ, continually pushing boundaries while staying true to his roots.
