Able Noise

Able Noise is an innovative audio-visual duo originating from Greece, composed of George Knegtel and Otto Kokke. Since forming in 2016, the pair has garnered attention for their distinctive blend of minimalism, experimental soundscapes, and dynamic live performances. Drawing influence from a diverse range of sources including ambient, post-punk, and avant-garde electronics, Able Noise crafts immersive sonic experiences driven by Knegtel’s hypnotic baritone guitar riffs and Kokke’s intricate percussion.

Their music unfolds in real time during performances, often incorporating improvisational elements which push the boundaries of traditional song structures. Alongside their sonic explorations, Able Noise integrates striking visual elements—video projection and unconventional stage setups—transforming each show into a unique multi-sensory event. They have released several critically acclaimed records, contributed to multidisciplinary art projects, and performed across Europe, steadily building a reputation for boundary-pushing creativity both within the Greek experimental scene and beyond.
