7005 is an interdisciplinary artist whose work spans sculpture, installation, and digital media, shaped by a keen interest in the relationship between technology, memory, and culture. Emerging from the urban landscape of Seoul, 7005 has developed a unique visual language characterized by a fusion of industrial materials and organic forms, exploring themes of transformation and identity in a rapidly shifting world. After obtaining a BFA from Hongik University in 2011, the artist's early exhibitions caught attention for their immersive environments that evoke a sense of both nostalgia and unease.

Over the past decade, 7005’s practice has evolved to incorporate generative algorithms, 3D printing, and found objects, resulting in works that blur boundaries between the physical and virtual realms. Their installations have been presented in institutions such as the Seoul Museum of Art and the Mori Art Museum in Tokyo, as well as in numerous international art fairs and biennials. Beyond the gallery space, 7005 is also known for collaborative projects with engineers, musicians, and community organizations, contributing to public art initiatives and experimental music events.

Drawing from personal and collective histories, 7005’s work invites viewers to reconsider notions of authorship, connectivity, and materiality in an age of constant flux.
