Tom Hall brings his new album *Trip Computer* to Gray Area, pushing boundaries across glitch, modular realms, and fragmented electronics. To mark the launch, Hall curates a night of futureshocked sound with a lineup that channels the pulse of contemporary experimentalism. Joining the bill is Bay Area-based Amma Ateria, whose sets are known for seismic bass pressure and glistening high frequencies; r beny, celebrated for evocative modular synth storytelling and analog melancholy; Testu, whose morphing textures oscillate between immersive ambient and razor-sharp rhythms; and Sharkiface, a staple in the local noise scene, weaving tactile sonic narratives with voice and electronics.
Set in the architectural complexity and immersive AV of Gray Area, this event offers more than an album release. Expect fractured cybernetic beats, heavy low-end, digital noise and lush drones, mapped out by artists consistently redefining live electronic music. Step inside the sonic mainframe on August 16th and witness a night engineered for machines, minds, and the deep reaches of techno experimentalism.
