CDVR welcomes Madrid’s futuristic soundscapers Rotten City Records for a night of leftfield techno, acid electro, and shadowy grooves in the heart of Cadavra, Spain. On August 22, 2025, expect pulsating basements and glimmering strobes as label curator Alvaro Cabana and selector Javi Redondo command the booth with signature cuts spanning mutant wave, cosmic body music, and raw machine funk. Intruso and Gleezy round out the lineup, drawing from the depths of Iberian underground with forward-thinking selections and fearless energy.
Rotten City has carved its reputation releasing gear that blurs boundaries—indebted to EBM and post-punk but remixed for a restless club era. Their arrival in Cadavra signals a night for intensity-seekers: hypnotic synth lines, sleazy acid overtones, and hardware-fuelled bass weight pushing the system to the edge.
