Emerging from Belfast’s ever-evolving techno landscape, Coda returns for its sixth installment, inviting the rapidly rising Milan-based selector Alarico to command The Ulster Sports Club’s immersive basement. His sets, defined by kinetic percussion and stripped-back grooves, have earned widespread acclaim across Europe’s most discerning dancefloors and seminal platforms such as MUTUAL RUINS and MUTED. Expect an uncompromising journey through sharp, hard-edged rhythms and hypnotic atmospheres that challenge the contours of contemporary techno.
Supporting Alarico is a carefully curated local lineup that encapsulates the raw energy at the core of Northern Ireland’s club scene. Coda resident Ryan Dallas sets the tone with his trademark blend of rolling techno and deep, floor-centric selections. Joining them is Nez, known for his adventurous approach traversing the spectrum of modern dance music, and Blacky, whose sets are marked by a relentless drive and tightly-woven intensity.
Each act brings a distinctive perspective, promising a cohesive yet unpredictable sonic narrative. Coda 006 lands on September 8th, inviting dancers and heads alike to converge in one of Belfast’s most intimate late-night spaces. With a lineup that bridges international flair and local commitment, this edition reaffirms the series’ reputation as a key platform for progressive club culture in Ireland.
Advance tickets are recommended for this not-to-be-missed night.
