On August 3, 2025, Jazz Cafe Festival returns to Burgess Park, uniting emergent and established innovators across jazz, electronic, and global sounds in South London’s greenest expanse. Push forward the festival season with a roster led by multi-instrumentalist storyteller Masego, whose genre-spanning vision bridges late-night improvisation with crisp, future-leaning production. Aroop Roy brings his distinctive blend of house and jazz, known for connecting beats and melodies from across continents.
Dublon and Izco infuse the day with broken rhythms and playful textures, shaping the festival’s open-air soundtrack. Spoken word authority James Massiah delivers a unique cross-section of poetry and groove, while producer Juls injects Afrofusion sensibility and percussive warmth into the proceedings. Expect rising forces like malix, Nabihah Iqbal, and Nooriyah—each reshaping the scene with selections that traverse club music, leftfield electronics, and cross-cultural histories.
Young Franco closes out the festival’s arc with a radiant set of party-ready basslines, ensuring the beat persists as daylight fades. Jazz Cafe Festival 2025 builds on tradition and motion, creating a singular day of live musicianship and club-focused energy. Burgess Park’s wide lawns set the stage for sonic encounters and serendipitous moments, offering a new lens on the city’s open-air potential.
