Belfast’s AVA Festival returns in 2022 with an unmissable series of afterparties set to ignite the dancefloors at Thompsons Garage. As the festival takes over the city by day, the energy doesn’t slow when night falls—Thompsons' booth is primed for a late run of forward-thinking sounds on Friday, June 3rd. Anchoring the lineup, Bklava brings her infectious style, blending UKG, house and live vocals for a set that promises to challenge convention and keep the crowd moving.
DART follows up with his signature punchy club rhythms and fast rising reputation as one of Ireland’s most exciting selectors. Support comes from local figureheads and new faces alike: Cyence weaves tough, rolling techno cuts while Moodtrax keeps things deep with hypnotic, groove-led selections. Cromby, back on home turf after a string of acclaimed EPs, steers dancers through late-night techno and acid jams.
Hijaxx and Famoc join in with their own blend of percussive club and atmospheric textures, creating a sense of release that’s unique to Belfast’s best basement. Topping off the bill are Bekuz x InFlux and Korova—expect them to push boundaries with a blend of bass-heavy, genre-spanning tracks primed for the after-hours. As always, AVA’s afterparties are more than just an add-on to the main event; Thompsons Garage will once again serve as a midnight laboratory for some of the most vital names in the scene, and a perfect setting for the next chapter of the city's dance culture.
