ZYNTAX

ZYNTAX is a multidisciplinary artist collective known for seamlessly blending digital technology with tactile mediums to explore themes of transformation, communication, and the hidden structures of contemporary life. Formed in Berlin in 2017 by a group of creatives with backgrounds spanning sound art, computational design, performance, and visual poetry, ZYNTAX’s works defy easy categorization. Their immersive installations, generative audio-visual systems, and participatory performances invite audiences to interrogate their relationships to data, systems, and language.

ZYNTAX has been featured in exhibitions at international venues including Transmediale, Ars Electronica, and the Tokyo Media Arts Festival, and their projects often involve collaborations across disciplines, leveraging machine learning, custom electronics, and analogue craftsmanship. Noted for their innovative use of real-time input and algorithmic processes, ZYNTAX foregrounds the tension between control and randomness, exploring how meaning is shaped, lost, and rediscovered across human and artificial networks.
