Yraki

Yraki is a contemporary visual artist known for weaving dreamlike narrative and intricate symbolism into vivid, mixed-media works. Born and raised in Bogotá, Colombia, Yraki’s art is deeply influenced by the vibrant colors and layered textures of the city’s urban landscape, as well as by ancestral stories drawn from Latin American folklore. After earning a BFA from Universidad de los Andes, Yraki began exhibiting in local galleries, quickly gaining recognition for a unique approach that blends painting, collage, and digital techniques.

Yraki’s practice explores themes of identity, migration, and collective memory, often employing surreal imagery to challenge conventional boundaries between reality and imagination. With exhibitions spanning South America, Europe, and, more recently, the United States, Yraki continues to evolve a personal visual language that resonates with both intimate emotion and universal questions, positioning them as a rising figure in the contemporary art world.
