Blending electronic, hip-hop, and world music influences, DJ YÅ has become a boundary-pushing presence in underground and international club scenes. Born in Stockholm and raised between Sweden and Barcelona, YÅ (pronounced “Yah”) began their musical journey as a bedroom producer, soaking up global sounds and urban rhythms. Early career sets at independent raves and queer-friendly venues quickly built a reputation for seamless genre-bending mixes and infectious, kinetic energy.

YÅ’s debut EP, "Transmissions," released in 2019, showcased a knack for melodic layering and polyrhythmic beats, with standout tracks gaining support from tastemaker radio shows in London and Berlin. YÅ’s subsequent collaborations with vocalists and producers from across Europe have further enriched their eclectic sound, weaving in afrobeats, reggaeton, and leftfield techno.
