Viktor Wonka

Viktor Wonka is a multidisciplinary artist known for his vivid exploration of imagination, nostalgia, and surrealism. Born in Prague in 1986, Wonka moved frequently throughout Europe, a nomadic upbringing that deeply influenced his eclectic visual sensibility. Drawing inspiration from both classical fantasy literature and the vibrant urban environments he has called home, Wonka’s work often blends joyful whimsy with subtle melancholic undertones.

He studied fine art at the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague, and his career began with a series of mural installations that gained critical acclaim for their dreamlike, candy-colored palettes and lush, immersive storytelling. Wonka’s paintings, sculptures, and digital pieces have been exhibited internationally, from galleries in Berlin to pop-up shows in London and New York. Driven by an enduring fascination with childhood wonder and creative transformation, Viktor Wonka continues to expand his practice, collaborating with musicians, theater productions, and fashion designers to bring his fantastical vision to new audiences.
