Tye Turner

Tye Turner is a multidisciplinary artist whose work spans painting, sculpture, and digital media. Born in 1991 in Atlanta, Georgia, Turner discovered a passion for visual storytelling at a young age, inspired by the rich cultural tapestry and vibrant street art of his hometown. After earning a BFA from Savannah College of Art and Design, he established a studio practice rooted in experimentation with color, texture, and unconventional materials.

Turner’s approach is marked by a keen interest in reinterpretation—melding found objects and urban detritus with traditional techniques to explore themes of memory, identity, and transformation. His work has been exhibited in galleries and public spaces throughout the southeastern United States, earning recognition for its immersive installations and thought-provoking commentary on contemporary life. Beyond his studio practice, Turner is an advocate for arts education, regularly leading community workshops and collaborative mural projects that foster creative engagement and accessible art experiences.
