Tripmastaz is a Russian DJ, producer, and audio engineer renowned for his deep connection to the underground house and techno scene. Emerging from Russia’s burgeoning club culture in the early 2000s, he quickly established himself as a key figure, representing his country on the global circuit with performances at notable venues from Berlin’s Watergate to New York’s Output. Known for a gritty, analog-driven sound, Tripmastaz has released tracks on lauded labels such as Cocoon, Cadenza, Desolat, and Robsoul, earning the respect and support of luminaries like Ricardo Villalobos, DJ Sneak, and Carl Cox.

His productions, which often blend elements of classic Chicago house, Detroit techno, and swirling minimalism, showcase both versatility and a commitment to dance floor authenticity. In addition to his solo work, Tripmastaz is known for his collaboration with DJ Sneak as “Tripmastaz & Sneak,” and he has worked alongside the likes of Ricardo Villalobos under the alias “VilaMastaz.” Beyond the booth and studio, he’s contributed to the culture as a sound designer and engineer, maintaining a DIY ethic and an innovative approach to hardware-based production.
