Tricky

Tricky, born Adrian Nicholas Matthews Thaws in Bristol, United Kingdom, in 1968, is an influential musician and producer known for his pivotal role in the development of trip-hop. Emerging from the vibrant Bristol sound system scene, Tricky began his career as an early collaborator with Massive Attack, contributing to their debut album before launching his acclaimed solo career with "Maxinquaye" in 1995. The album, an innovative fusion of hip hop, electronica, dub, and alternative rock, received critical and commercial success, establishing Tricky as a groundbreaking artist whose work defies traditional genre boundaries.
