Toni Pfad

Toni Pfad is a multidisciplinary artist whose work navigates the intersections of memory, materiality, and the natural world. Born in Germany, Pfad developed an early fascination with both the tactile qualities of found objects and the subtleties of color and texture, influences that continue to shape their artistic practice. After studying fine arts at the Hochschule für Bildende Künste in Hamburg, Pfad embarked on a career marked by experimentation, merging traditional techniques with unconventional media.

Their installations, sculptures, and abstract paintings often evoke an ephemeral sense of place, inviting viewers to reconsider their relationships to everyday environments. Exhibited widely throughout Europe and North America, Pfad’s work has been recognized for its poetic synthesis of organic and constructed elements. The artist currently lives and works in Berlin, where they are actively involved in community-based art initiatives and ongoing collaborations with local and international artists.
