Thylacine

French electronic music producer and composer Thylacine, born William Rezé in 1992, is renowned for his atmospheric soundscapes that blend organic instrumentation with electronic beats. Originally trained as a saxophonist, Thylacine transitioned to electronic music in his early twenties, quickly gaining recognition for his distinctive approach to composition and production. Thylacine's breakthrough came with his 2015 debut album *Transsiberian*, which was conceived and recorded during a journey on the Trans-Siberian Railway.

The album features ambient field recordings and collaborations with local musicians, capturing the spirit of travel and adventure that continues to define his work. He followed this with the 2019 album *Roads Vol. 1*, recorded during a road trip through South America in a mobile studio built into a vintage Airstream trailer.

His subsequent projects—including *Timeless* (2021), which reimagines classic pieces of classical music—reveal a penchant for fusing genres and exploring new sonic territories. Thylacine is celebrated for innovative live performances, often accompanied by visual art that enhances the immersive quality of his music.
