The Zawose Queens

The Zawose Queens are a Tanzanian musical duo renowned for their innovative blend of Gogo traditional sounds with contemporary influences. Hailing from the legendary Zawose family, whose members have long been custodians and pioneers of Tanzanian music, The Zawose Queens—Msafiri Zawose's sister Pendo and cousin Rehema—bring to the stage a vibrant exploration of rhythm, dance, and storytelling.
