Superpitcher, born Aksel Schaufler in 1973 in Germany, is a highly influential producer, DJ, and artist on the global electronic music scene. Renowned for his emotive approach to techno and house, Superpitcher first gained recognition through the iconic Cologne-based Kompakt label, where he became a key figure in the minimal and microhouse movements of the early 2000s. His music is celebrated for its dreamy atmospherics, melodic sensibility, and narrative depth, blending club-driven energy with introspective moods.

With celebrated albums such as "Here Comes Love" and "The Golden Ravedays," Superpitcher has built a reputation for expansive, cinematic compositions as well as meticulously crafted DJ sets. He is also known for his long-standing creative partnership with Rebolledo as the duo Pachanga Boys, famed for their marathon sets and their anthem "Time."
