Shakèd

Shakèd is a multidisciplinary artist whose work explores the intersections of memory, identity, and collective experience through a dynamic blend of painting, textile, and installation art. Drawing influence from both her Mediterranean heritage and contemporary visual culture, Shakèd weaves personal narrative with broader social themes, creating immersive works that invite viewers to reflect on the complexities of belonging and transformation. After graduating with honors from the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design in Jerusalem, she has exhibited widely in galleries and art spaces across Europe, North America, and the Middle East.

Shakèd’s practice is characterized by a vivid use of color and texture, as well as a commitment to experimenting with materials both traditional and unconventional. Her recent projects involve collaborative community-based installations, amplifying diverse voices and fostering dialogue around issues like displacement, gender, and resilience.
