S. grew up immersed in a vibrant multicultural environment that continues to shape their artistic sensibility. After earning a BFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and an MFA from Yale University, S.
D.S. quickly emerged as a distinctive voice in the contemporary art scene.
Their work, informed by personal history and collective narratives, is characterized by a dynamic use of color, layered symbolism, and immersive spatial experiences. S.D.
