is an innovative contemporary artist whose multidisciplinary practice explores the intersection of memory, identity, and social ritual through painting, installation, and sound. Born in 1987 in Los Angeles, California, S.D.

S. grew up immersed in a vibrant multicultural environment that continues to shape their artistic sensibility. After earning a BFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and an MFA from Yale University, S.

D.S. quickly emerged as a distinctive voice in the contemporary art scene.

Their work, informed by personal history and collective narratives, is characterized by a dynamic use of color, layered symbolism, and immersive spatial experiences. S.D.

S. has exhibited widely in solo and group shows across the United States and internationally, with recent exhibitions at the Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles, and the Serpentine Galleries in London. In addition to their visual arts practice, S.

D.S. collaborates with musicians and writers, further blurring the boundaries between disciplines.

Currently based in Brooklyn, New York, S.D.S.
