Robbie Kalifornya

Robbie Kalifornya is a multidisciplinary artist based in Germany whose work spans painting, digital media, installation, and sound. Known for blending bold color palettes with experimental textures, Kalifornya’s art explores the intersection of identity, urban environments, and collective memory. Growing up in Berlin, Kalifornya developed a unique aesthetic shaped by the city’s vibrant street culture and its rich post-reunification creative scene.

After studying fine arts at the Universität der Künste Berlin, Kalifornya began exhibiting in independent spaces and quickly gained recognition for immersive installations that invite viewers into dreamlike, layered worlds. Drawing inspiration from both personal narratives and global pop culture, Kalifornya’s projects often incorporate found objects, recorded sounds, and digital manipulation, challenging traditional notions of authenticity and place. Their work has been featured in group and solo exhibitions throughout Europe and continues to evolve, engaging communities and audiences through collaborative workshops and public art interventions.
