Rhode & Brown

Rhode & Brown is a Munich-based electronic music duo composed of Friedrich Trede and Stephan Fischer. Known for their eclectic blend of house, disco, and deep electronic grooves, the pair first began producing together in their teenage years, quickly developing a distinctive sound celebrated for its warmth, intricate percussion, and playful melodic sensibility. Drawing inspiration from the golden era of 90s house as well as modern analog-infused dance music, Rhode & Brown made their breakthrough with releases on labels such as Toy Tonics, Permanent Vacation, and Shall Not Fade, earning them international recognition and regular appearances at renowned clubs across Europe.

Their productions are characterized by an infectious energy and a love for analog synths, vintage drum machines, and crate-dug samples, all of which contribute to their signature atmospheric yet danceable style. In addition to their own work, Rhode & Brown have collaborated with and remixed a wide array of artists in the contemporary house scene, continually pushing their sound forward while maintaining a deep respect for club music’s roots.
