Regan Funk

Regan Funk is a multidisciplinary artist known for her evocative explorations of memory, place, and identity through immersive installations, mixed media, and painting. Born in Minneapolis in 1993, Funk draws inspiration from her Midwestern upbringing and her ongoing travels, weaving vivid narratives that blur boundaries between personal history and collective experience. After earning a BFA from the Rhode Island School of Design in 2015, Funk’s work has been exhibited in galleries across the United States and Europe, attracting critical attention for its nuanced approach to materiality and storytelling.

Her practice incorporates found objects, archival materials, and experimental techniques, resulting in pieces that invite viewers to engage emotionally and reflect on their own connections to history and space. Funk currently lives and works in Brooklyn, actively participating in artist residencies and community-based projects while continuing to push the boundaries of contemporary visual art.
