Primal Scream

Primal Scream is an influential British rock band formed in Glasgow, Scotland in 1982 by vocalist Bobby Gillespie and guitarist Jim Beattie. Initially rooted in the indie pop scene, the group evolved dramatically throughout its career, incorporating elements of rock, dance, psychedelia, and electronic music. Their critical breakthrough came with the 1991 album "Screamadelica," which blended acid house rhythms with rock and roll, winning the first Mercury Music Prize and redefining the boundaries of British music at the time.
