P.O.U.

is a multidisciplinary artist collective based between Seoul and Los Angeles, whose practice explores the tensions and harmonies between technology, tradition, and identity. Founded in 2018 by childhood friends Park Eun-ji, Owen Kim, and Ursula Lim, P.O.

U. integrates elements of visual art, sound design, and performance to create immersive experiences that traverse cultural and digital boundaries. Their work often draws inspiration from Korean folklore and contemporary pop culture, blending hand-crafted techniques with algorithm-driven processes to question what is authentic or artificial in an age of rapid innovation.

Since their debut at the Gwangju Media Arts Biennale, P.O.U.

has exhibited in galleries throughout Asia and North America, earning recognition for installations that engage viewers through interactive media, layered symbolism, and poignant social commentary. Through collaboration and experimentation, P.O.

U. continues to challenge conventions, engaging audiences in a dialogue about memory, belonging, and the evolving shape of shared realities.
