Pola & Bryson

Pola & Bryson are a UK drum and bass duo comprised of Harry Bryson and Jack "Pola" Higgins. Hailing from London, the pair first met at university and quickly bonded over their mutual passion for soulful, melodic drum and bass. Their partnership debuted in 2014, and they soon gained recognition for their seamless production style, expressive musicality, and ability to blend deep liquid sounds with dancefloor energy.

Their early releases caught the eye of influential labels such as Spearhead Records, Liquicity, and Shogun Audio. In 2016, they released their debut album, *This Time Last Year*, which showcased their signature emotive sound and established them as rising stars in the drum and bass scene. The album was widely praised for its sophisticated arrangements, vocal collaborations, and its keen sense of atmosphere.

Building on their momentum, Pola & Bryson continued to release a stream of acclaimed singles and EPs, while regularly performing DJ sets across Europe and the UK. Their versatility and commitment to musical quality led them to co-found Soulvent Records—a label focused on spotlighting fresh, innovative talent within the genre. In 2020, the duo signed with Shogun Audio and released their second album, *Beneath the Surface*, further solidifying their reputation for pushing creative boundaries.

The album cemented their place at the forefront of contemporary drum and bass, combining lush melodies, intricate percussion, and heartfelt songwriting.
