Petal is the musical project of Kiley Lotz, an artist hailing from Scranton, Pennsylvania, in the United States. Lotz began Petal in the early 2010s, crafting intimate, emotionally charged indie rock that quickly resonated with listeners for its honesty and depth. Drawing from a background in both folk and punk, Petal’s sound weaves delicate melodies with raw, powerful lyrics, exploring themes of identity, vulnerability, mental health, and resilience.

Their 2015 debut album, "Shame," released on Run For Cover Records, was met with critical acclaim, setting the stage for continued growth and experimentation on subsequent releases such as "Magic Gone" in 2018.
