Perfect Lovers is a collaborative project by artists Daniel Crooks and Sarah Nguyen, who have been working together since 2017. Based between Melbourne and Berlin, their practice explores the poetic potential of time, memory, and technology through immersive installations, soundscapes, and generative video works. Drawing inspiration from architecture, literature, and the rhythms of everyday life, Perfect Lovers create multimedia environments that invite audiences to reflect on the intersections between the personal and the universal.
Their work has been exhibited internationally at institutions such as the Centre Pompidou, the National Gallery of Victoria, and the Singapore Art Museum, and has been recognized with numerous awards and commissions. Through their thoughtful, experimental approach, Perfect Lovers seek to dissolve boundaries—between artist and audience, physical and virtual, past and present—crafting experiences that linger in the mind and senses long after encounter.
