Pau Pérez

Pau Pérez is a contemporary visual artist from Spain renowned for his emotive explorations of color, texture, and urban imagery. Born in 1983 in Barcelona, Pérez’s early exposure to the dynamic artistic and architectural landscape of his home city profoundly influenced his aesthetic sensibilities. Having studied Fine Arts at the University of Barcelona, he later honed his signature style—a synthesis of abstraction and figurative elements—through residencies in Berlin and Paris.

Pérez’s work frequently navigates the boundaries between memory and reality, drawing inspiration from cityscapes, personal narratives, and social themes. He has exhibited widely across Europe and Latin America, with notable solo exhibitions at the MACBA in Barcelona and the Centro de Arte Contemporáneo in Málaga. His pieces are included in several private and public collections, and he has been the recipient of multiple awards, including the Premi Miquel Casablancas.
