Paso Doble is a pioneering German synthpop duo formed in the early 1980s by Frank Hieber and Rale Oberpichler. Emerging from the vibrant Neue Deutsche Welle (NDW) scene, the duo quickly distinguished themselves with their innovative fusion of electronic melodies, poetic lyrics, and Oberpichler’s striking vocal delivery. Their 1985 hit single "Computerliebe" became a defining anthem of the era, celebrated for its futuristic soundscape and poignant exploration of human-technology relationships.
