Born in St. Louis, Missouri, Osunlade is a visionary DJ, producer, and priest in the Yoruba religion whose career bridges spiritual depth and musical innovation. He began his journey in music composing for TV shows such as "Sesame Street" and producing for artists in the R&B and pop scenes, ultimately relocating to Los Angeles, where he worked with acts like Patti LaBelle, Freddie Jackson, and Eric Benét.

In the late 1990s, Osunlade founded his influential label Yoruba Records, which became synonymous with soulful, organic, and deeply percussive house music inspired by African and spiritual traditions. Osunlade’s productions and DJ sets are characterized by their fusion of soulful melodies, intricate rhythms, and universal messages, making him a revered figure in deep house and beyond.
