Organza is an interdisciplinary art collective formed in 2018, known for their ethereal installations and immersive performances that blend the boundaries between visual art, sound, and spatial experience. Comprised of core members Mira Evans and Julian Ortega, Organza draws inspiration from the delicate structures found in nature, exploring themes of transformation, transparency, and movement through their choice of materials and technology. Their work often incorporates textiles, projections, and field recordings, creating multi-sensory environments that invite audiences to engage deeply with their surroundings.
Organza has exhibited internationally, receiving critical acclaim for shows at the Istanbul Biennial, Palais de Tokyo in Paris, and the Museum of Contemporary Art in Sydney, as well as collaborating with musicians and choreographers for experimental live events. Through their practice, Organza seeks to dissolve the boundaries between audience and artwork, crafting experiences that are both intimate and expansive, and fostering new dialogues about the unseen connections that shape our world.
