Orbit

Orbit is a Brooklyn-based multimedia artist whose work explores the intersections of technology, memory, and urban landscapes. Drawing inspiration from the rhythms of city life and the constant flux of digital and analog experiences, Orbit creates immersive installations, large-scale paintings, and digital media pieces that evoke both nostalgia and futurism. After graduating from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 2017, Orbit relocated to New York, where they quickly became known for their innovative use of discarded materials and experimental soundscapes, incorporating found objects, glitch aesthetics, and interactive elements.

Orbit’s practice centers on themes of connectivity, transience, and personal identity, often inviting viewers to reconsider their relationship with everyday environments and the digital traces they leave behind. Their work has been exhibited at the Brooklyn Museum, MoMA PS1, and various international galleries, as well as featured in publications such as Artforum and Hyperallergic. With each project, Orbit continues to push the boundaries of contemporary art, redefining the way audiences experience space, time, and memory.
