Onra, born Arnaud Bernard in 1981, is a French hip-hop producer and DJ whose innovative approach blends influences from his Vietnamese heritage, '80s funk, boogie, soul, and vintage Asian pop. Raised in Paris, Onra began his musical career producing beats in his bedroom and digging through global record stores. His travels to Vietnam in 2006 inspired his breakthrough album *Chinoiseries*, which samples rare Asian records and gained widespread acclaim for its boundary-pushing sound.

Over the years, Onra has released several celebrated projects, including *Long Distance* (2010), an album praised for its funky, synth-heavy production, and further installments in the *Chinoiseries* series. Renowned for his energetic live sets performed with classic MPC hardware, he has performed worldwide at renowned venues and festivals, including Sonar and Boiler Room.
