Nico Adomako

Nico Adomako is a Berlin-born, New York–based DJ, music curator, and cultural connector whose career is defined by an adventurous approach to sound and community. Of Ghanaian descent, Nico’s musical journey began in Germany’s avant-garde club scenes, where he honed a style that merges leftfield electronic, diasporic club sounds, and hip hop. Moving to New York, he quickly earned a reputation for dynamic DJ sets that traverse genres and challenge expectations.

Adomako has held residencies at landmark venues from OHM in Berlin to Nowadays in Brooklyn, with performances stretching across Europe and North America, including appearances at Boiler Room, Red Bull Music Festival, and Afropunk Festival. He is also known for curating innovative radio shows, particularly his acclaimed “Elevated” series on Berlin Community Radio and residencies on The Lot Radio, helping platform emerging talent alongside established artists. A frequent collaborator with art spaces and fashion brands, Nico’s forward-thinking taste has led to work with organizations such as Frieze, Nike, and Apple Music.

Through his creative agency Sleepers, he continues to foster cross-disciplinary projects that unite music, art, and culture while highlighting voices from the African diaspora. With an enduring commitment to sonic exploration, Nico Adomako remains at the forefront of the global club underground.
