Nickon Faith is a multidisciplinary artist whose work weaves together elements of painting, sculpture, and digital media to explore themes of identity, memory, and transformation. Born in 1991 and raised in Los Angeles, Faith’s practice is characterized by a fascination with the boundaries between the physical and the intangible, often drawing upon personal experiences and cultural histories to inform his visual language. After completing a BFA at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, he continued his studies with residencies in Berlin and Mexico City, where he expanded his experimentation with found materials and narrative-driven installations.
His recent exhibitions have been featured in both institutional and alternative spaces, garnering attention for their immersive environments and poetic use of light and shadow. Faith’s layered approach not only invites viewers to consider the malleability of perception but also challenges conventional ideas about authorship and authenticity in contemporary art.
